My favorite Safari Extensions
- AdBlock: To block ads.
- Ghostery: Blocks all sorts of tracking scripts. Including Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter.
- GoogleClickTracker: Disables Google’s click tracker, e.g. on search result page.
- YoutubeWide: Makes videos on YouTube wide by default.1
- FastestTube: Displays a small “Download” button below a YouTube videos.
- Shut Up: Disables comments on most websites.
- NoMoreiTunes: Stop iTunes from launching automatically on iTunes preview page.
- ClickToPlugin: Disable Flash and other Plugins’ contents.
I use more Extensions, but most of them are disabled by default. I don’t need to have all Extensions running all the time, e.g. Firebug Lite or ReloadCSS.2
